Be a positive influence on residents' daily health and happiness. Cater Care is seeking Casual Catering Assistants to join our team at Booragul, NSW. In this role, you'll assist with meal service and help create a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents.
Roster: Casual | Various days and hours available
What This Role Involves:
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly
- Serve meals and snacks to residents with exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and operate dishwashing equipment in kitchen and dining areas
- Uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Adaptable and versatile team player with a proactive, can-do approach
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Contribute to efficient daily kitchen operations
- Execute large-batch meal preparation with attention to quality and consistency
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in a kitchen hand, catering assistant, or hospitality role
- Exposure to aged care, healthcare, or contract catering environments (desirable)
- Ability to follow procedures and work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
- A respectful and caring approach to working in aged care
- Previous experience in medical/hospital sector would be well regarded
