Bookkeeper – Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team and manage the day-to-day transactional processing for our finance department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting and administrative duties, including but not limited to:

• Manage accounts payable
• Manage accounts receivable, including project progress claims
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Process and reconcile company credit cards
• Process payroll and associated payroll requirements
• Place purchase orders and reserve materials
• Manage and maintain job costing records
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain accurate customer and supplier databases
• Respond to customer account enquiries

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• A formal qualification in bookkeeping or accounting (preferred)
• Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role

• Experience using MYOB
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• A strong work ethic and reliable approach
• A positive, proactive and “can-do” attitude

Position Details

Employment: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:0 pm
