About Our Client
The organisation is a reputable distribution business known for its strong operational performance and customer-focused approach. They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a high-performing team in the Greater Western Sydney region.
Job Description
- Lead the day-to-day warehouse operations across Receiving, Dispatch and Inventory.
- Manage and support a team of approximately 40 employees through three Team Leaders.
- Coordinate labour hire requirements, rostering and workforce planning.
- Approve timesheets and monitor attendance and productivity.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and efficient stock movement throughout the warehouse.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor operational performance and resolve day-to-day warehouse issues.
- Support inbound and outbound operations to ensure service levels are achieved.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to maintain a smooth and efficient warehouse operation.
The Successful Applicant
- Warehouse leadership experience within a distribution or warehouse environment.
- Current Forklift Licence.
- Strong knowledge of receiving, dispatch, and inventory operations.
- Experience managing teams and labour hire staff.
- Hands-on management style with excellent communication skills.
- Exposure to WMS and Microsoft Office systems.
- Ability to drive safety, productivity, and team performance.
