About us

At CareSuper, we believe we’re Super Together. As a profit-to-member super fund with over 600,000 members and $60 billion in assets, we’re passionate about helping our members retire with confidence. We’re growing fast and looking for our next superhero to join us on this exciting journey.

About the role

As our new UX/UI Designer, you’ll join the Digital team within our Member Experience and Retirement division, reporting to the Digital Experience Manager. You’ll design and improve digital experiences that are simple, intuitive and built around what our members really need, turning user insights and business requirements into practical UX and UI solutions that make super easier to engage with across all our digital channels.

You will:

  • Design member-led digital experiences and user interfaces across our digital channels, turning requirements and insights into user flows, wireframes, prototypes and interface designs.
  • Create intuitive, accessible and visually consistent interfaces aligned to CareSuper's brand and design standards.
  • Drive user research, usability testing and design refinement, using feedback and data to keep improving the experience.
  • Lead the development and governance of our design system, building consistency through standards, patterns and reusable components.
  • Partner with Experience, Product and Digital teams to align design with member journeys and business priorities.
  • Work closely with engineers to make sure designs are deliverable and brought to life as intended.

Please note, we’re open to applications from candidates located in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Hobart for this role.

What we’re looking for

We’re on the lookout for a member-first designer who loves solving problems and creating digital experiences that genuinely make life easier for people.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Experience in UX or digital design within a customer-facing environment.
  • A strong understanding of usability, accessibility and human-centred design best practice.
  • Hands‑on experience with Figma or similar design tools, and in facilitating user testing.
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments (desirable).
  • The ability to communicate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, balancing design quality with delivery practicality.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in design, digital or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Why CareSuper?

We’re not just another super fund. We’re a values-driven organisation that puts people first - our members and our team.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Hybrid and flexible work environment
  • 3% Superannuation Guarantee (SG) above SG minimum
  • Additional matching of your salary sacrifice to Superannuation of up to 3% depending on your role
  • 5 weeks of annual leave
  • 18 weeks of parental leave for all eligible employees
  • Holistic health and wellbeing support - free annual flu shots, skin checks, Employee Assistance Program
  • Professional Development
