We're the world's leading consumer healthcare platform, supporting millions of patients across the US, Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan, Spain and Canada. We're driven by the belief that good health should last a lifetime, and that to get there we need to deliver the personalised, high quality and empathetic care that the traditional system cannot support. You'll partner with our care teams of prescribers, nurses, health coaches, pharmacists and dietitians to support patients across preventative health, weight management and specific women's and men's health conditions.

This is a high-ownership role at the centre of the Hims & Hers growth engine. You'll be an integral part of the team that owns paid media (brand and performance) strategy, execution, and results end to end across our most critical acquisition channels, while partnering closely with creative, product, and analytics teams to drive measurable, scalable outcomes. This role is for someone who thinks in systems, brings rigour to experimentation, and has the commercial instincts to turn data into growth. You'll report to the Performance Lead within the Growth team.

As our Performance Marketer, you will:

  • Be an integral part of the team that owns the paid growth engine: help define and execute channel strategy across Google, YouTube, Meta, TikTok and emerging platforms, making campaign and budget allocation decisions by triangulating first-party, blended and attributed data sources.
  • Drive creative-performance loops: partner closely with creative teams to ideate, brief, test and iterate on high-performing ad concepts.
  • Build a creative review process that uses structured creative analysis to identify key performance variables and sharpen subsequent briefs.
  • Lead a rigorous test-and-learn roadmap: build and run structured experiments across audiences, creative, bidding strategies and landing experiences to continuously improve efficiency and scale.
  • Own performance analytics and reporting: translate campaign data into clear, actionable recommendations, and diagnose performance issues and opportunities using first- and third-party data to drive ongoing optimisation.
  • Champion measurement excellence: apply best practice across attribution, incrementality testing and full-funnel performance tracking so decisions are grounded in reliable signal.
  • Influence cross-functional growth strategy: collaborate with product, analytics and senior leadership to shape priorities and stay ahead of platform changes, industry trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Take ownership of your paid accounts: you'll be responsible for everything that comes with these platforms, from building accounts from scratch, to assisting with or overseeing pixel implementation, to ensuring best-in-class campaign structure, then launching, maintaining and optimising ads.

About you (who you are)

  • Experienced: you have 4+ years of significant hands-on experience running several accounts, each with multiple channels, in performance marketing or paid media.
  • Strong on Google Ads: you have a track record of driving efficient customer acquisition on Google (Search, Performance Max, YouTube and Demand Gen), plus hands-on experience with Meta and other channels as part of a multichannel acquisition strategy.
  • Deeply analytical: you're comfortable working with first- and third-party data, attribution models and blended performance metrics, and can translate complexity into clear, confident recommendations.
  • A structured experimenter: you build test-and-learn frameworks rather than one-off tests, and you know how to separate signal from noise to inform strategy.
  • Close to creative teams: you collaborate with them daily to help write a compelling creative brief, influence product roadmap conversations, and present performance strategy to senior stakeholders with equal confidence.
  • Confident with AI tools: you regularly use AI to help analyse data and flag concerns before forming your own recommendation and driving its execution.
  • Commercially numerate: you translate performance metrics into business outcomes. You understand what CAC means for our business, how we influence it, and how to build budgets that hit order targets.
  • Proactive and commercially minded, with genuine curiosity about platform mechanics, consumer behaviour, and what makes paid media work at scale.

Nice to haves

  • Background in D2C, consumer or subscription-based businesses, with a focus on ROI, LTV and retention.
  • Experience with incrementality testing, media mix modelling, or advanced attribution methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience running TikTok or YouTube as supplementary acquisition channels at scale.
