Responsibilities
- Operate underground shotcrete equipment safely and efficiently
- Apply shotcrete in accordance with mine plans and ground support specifications
- Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
- Maintain spray quality and ensure compliance with engineering standards
- Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Work closely with Jumbo, Service Crew, and Production teams
- Complete shift reports and production documentation
- Maintain housekeeping standards in underground work areas
- Identify and report hazards, incidents, and equipment defects
- Promote and uphold site safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Underground Shotcrete Operator
- Experience operating Normet or equivalent shotcrete equipment highly regarded
- Strong understanding of underground ground support practices
- Ability to work safely in a production-focused environment
- Commitment to safety and compliance
- Valid manual driver's licence
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work a 2/2 FIFO or DIDO roster
