WesTrac | Grafton Workshop
WesTrac Grafton is seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic to join our growing workshop team.
As a Plant Mechanic, you'll utilise your mechanical expertise to inspect, maintain, diagnose and repair a range of Caterpillar construction and earthmoving equipment. Working alongside a skilled team of technicians, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers maximise machine availability while delivering repairs and maintenance to OEM standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified mechanic seeking stability, ongoing development and the opportunity to work with one of Australia's leading Caterpillar dealers.

What You'll Do
- Complete servicing, maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Conduct equipment inspections and preventative maintenance activities
- Complete repairs in accordance with Caterpillar quality standards
- Accurately document work completed and identify additional repair requirements
- Maintain a safe, organised and productive workshop environment
What You'll Bring
- Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Mobile Plant, Heavy Diesel or equivalent)
- Experience working on construction, earthmoving, agricultural or heavy vehicle equipment
