Our client is one of the Gold Coast’s most reputable and well-established accounting firms located near Surfers Paradise, providing comprehensive business compliance and advisory services. The firm embraces progressive marketing strategies and leverages advanced IT and AI systems to enhance efficiency and client service. Its structure includes multiple Tax and Business Services teams, a dedicated SMSF Accounting division, and a dedicated role overseeing ASIC reporting and corporate administration.

The Role

The firm is seeking an experienced Client Services Coordinator to take ownership of its centralised regulatory and administration function. This is a standalone position supporting internal and external clients whilst managing ASIC compliance for 900+ companies and administration and compliance requirements across approximately 100+ SMSF funds. You’ll be trusted to hit the ground running, manage competing priorities and deliver accurate, timely outcomes across a substantial client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard new clients and coordinate the necessary documentation and regulatory matters
  • Maintain accurate records, manage workflow and ensure deadlines are met
  • Work with internal teams and clients to deliver efficient, responsive service

About You

You’re an experienced client services professional who can confidently take ownership and manage a high-volume workload with minimal supervision. You understand the importance of accuracy, efficiency and client service and you’re comfortable taking ownership of an independent function. To be successful, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience across all aspects of ASIC administration and obligations
  • Working knowledge of AML requirements and processes
  • Competency in SMSF administration and lodgement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines independently
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach and the ability to hit the ground running
  • Strong technology skills and an interest in AI-driven efficiencies, automation and modern accounting systems
  • Experience using FYI, ChatGPT, CORE and AI agents or automation tools will be highly regarded

What’s On Offer

  • Securing a full-time, high-responsibility role with a competitive remuneration package and bonuses negotiable based on experience.
  • Expanding your technical expertise across ASIC reporting, AML requirements and SMSF administration.
  • Benefiting from flexible working arrangements that support work-life balance.
  • Thriving in a positive team culture with supportive colleagues and a collaborative working environment.
  • Leveraging modern technology, AI and automation within a firm that embraces progressive IT systems.
  • Advancing your career through ongoing training, professional development and clear progression opportunities.
  • Accessing onsite parking in a convenient central Gold Coast location.
  • Joining a well-established and respected Gold Coast firm with strong client relationships and dedicated Tax, Business Services and SMSF teams.
