The Software Packaging & Deployment Engineer is responsible for designing, packaging, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications and updates across the enterprise. This role focuses on application lifecycle management, software distribution, and patch management using Microsoft Intune and SCCM (MECM), ensuring secure, compliant, and reliable endpoint environments.
Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills
- Strong experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM (MECM)
- Hands-on expertise in application packaging (MSI, EXE, MSIX)
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting
- Experience with Windows OS patching and update management
- Knowledge of Windows Installer technology
- Familiarity with logging, troubleshooting, and deployment monitoring
