We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator with extensive experience in Oracle Database Administration and proficiency in Xtreme Components Configuration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring Oracle XStream CDC Source connectors for the Confluent Platform, along with a good understanding of Apache Kafka. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage complex database environments and ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Configure and optimize Xtreme Components for effective database management.
- Implement and manage Oracle XStream CDC Source connectors for the Confluent Platform.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business needs.
- Document database configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in Xtreme Components Configuration.
