Our team of Support Workers, Children and Youth Workers provide 24/7 support to participants with complex needs. Duties include:
- Personal care (may include full assistance with cares, including hoisting and wheelchair for mobility)
- In-home support
- Supported independent living
- Community access
- School runs
- Domestic assistance
Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
- Experienced in NDIS/ Aged Care
- Valid Open Australian Driver’s License and Reliable Comprehensive Insured Vehicle.
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance ($10m each).
About the Role:
This role involves supporting one young gentleman to access the community and enjoy meaningful activities while encouraging independence and social participation. Your responsibilities may include:
- Attending appointments.
- Going shopping or running errands.
- Visiting parks and local attractions.
- Supporting recreational and leisure activities.
- Encouraging independence and confidence.
- Providing friendly companionship and conversation.
- Supporting the participant to achieve their NDIS goals.
This is a low-intensity, community-based support role where building rapport and providing reliable support are the key priorities.
