Care Alliance Allied Health & Supports is based in Charlestown and delivers psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, behaviour support, registered nursing and support work to people across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Cessnock and Port Stephens. Our support teams receive clinical guidance and training from both our registered nurses and our psychologists. One thing sets us apart: our clients choose who supports them. Every support worker on a client's team is someone that client has approved.
About the role
This is a significant leadership role. As Rosters & Teams Manager, you'll own creating and maintaining client teams and rostering across the business. You'll lead our rostering team and organise our after-hours on-call team. Your job is to make sure every client is supported by workers they've approved, at the times they've agreed, safely and reliably. It's a business-hours role. You plan and organise the on-call team that covers nights and weekends, but you don't take after-hours calls yourself.
What you'll do
- Lead and take ownership of rostering.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for rostering across the business.
- Make sure shifts are safely staffed, client preferences are respected, and rosters are accurate, reliable and compliant.
- Lead the rostering team.
- Organise the after-hours on-call team.
- Build great client teams.
- Work collaboratively across the business.
- Stay ahead of problems.
- Be the trusted voice of rostering.
- Improve how we work.
About you
- A university degree demonstrating relevant study and knowledge.
- The capacity to quickly learn our systems and keep data accurate and up to date (we'll train you).
- A calm problem-solver who works proactively rather than reactively, and models and leads this in their team.
- A warm, confident communicator with all stakeholders.
- Organised and accurate with records, and comfortable with the relevant computer programs.
What we offer
- $125,000 + superannuation.
- Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with no after-hours calls.
- A significant leadership role, with backing from our Managers and Directors.
- Rewarding work alongside clients and colleagues to make sure clients are well supported and happy.
