Medical Receptionist & ECG Support in Melbourne

We are an established and successful private medical specialist group providing cardiac diagnostic imaging and clinical services (Cardio Vascular Services) together with respiratory and sleep specialist services (Cardio Respiratory Sleep) and cardiometabolic health services (Cardio Metabolic Services). We currently have two clinics in Melbourne at Armadale and Kew East, supported by our Head Office in Perth, where we have seven clinics.

As part of a small team, you will provide medical reception services primarily from our Armadale location, but you may also be required to work from our Kew East clinic as needed. You will take pride in being the face of our company, and your professional presentation and helpful, caring approach will support our commitment to an excellent patient experience. You will be able to work independently but always within a team, and your flexibility and willingness to help out will contribute to your success in this role. It is essential that you are positive, flexible and able to pick up systems and procedures quickly in a fast-paced environment.

The Position:

• Provide professional service, meeting and greeting patients attending diagnostic and consultant appointments
• Schedule and confirm patient testing and consultation appointments
• Handle all incoming patient communication, including phone calls, emails and faxes
• Process patient medical accounts, including Medicare claims
• Provide clinical assistance as an ECG Technician as required
• Maintain professionalism when handling issues as they arise, demonstrating sharp problem-solving skills to ensure smooth operation of clinical and consultation sessions
