Own projects end to end, from strategy and feasibility through to delivery and completion. Work directly with senior leadership on high profile projects with real social and economic impact.
A major residential developer is looking for experienced Project Leads to drive major residential apartment projects. These are complex projects with a lot of stakeholders, covering the full lifecycle from post acquisition through to completion. This is a 12 month contract with high probability to extend.
Responsibilities:
- Shape and deliver the project, commercial, funding and delivery strategy for large scale housing projects.
- Manage delivery across due diligence, funding and approvals, planning, procurement, development management and completion.
- Develop the transaction strategy and delivery model, resolve complex commercial issues and lead negotiations.
- Prepare and manage budgets, and advise on development feasibility.
- Run due diligence and risk assessments, and put mitigation strategies in place.
- Manage relationships with councils, authorities, consultants, contractors, tenants and the community.
- Report to executive and governance forums, making sure the project meets probity, procurement and WHS requirements.
About you:
- A proven record delivering major property, housing, urban renewal or infrastructure projects of significant scale and complexity.
- Strong strategic, commercial and technical leadership across the whole project lifecycle.
- Experience running complex stakeholder environments, ideally including mixed-tenure or affordable housing.
- Confidence identifying development risks and constraints and keeping delivery on track.
- Able to manage several priorities and hit critical milestones while working closely with internal teams.
