The Role
- Provide market and business insights and support the business on financial modelling for business proposals and decision support.
- Analyse monthly financial results and business drivers and provide supporting commentary on variances.
- Manage the annual budgeting process and analyse economic indicators and market trends to prepare forecasts.
- Partner with business units to formulate key strategies and recommendations to drive growth and profitability.
- Prepare ad hoc presentations for the COO and CFO.
- Strengthen internal controls and improve finance processes and systems.
- This is a stand alone role initially with the opportunity to recruit a small team within the next 12 months.
The Person
- You will be CA/CPA qualified and have 10+ years experience working in a commercial finance role including FP&A in a capital intensive industry.
- Prior property development experience is highly desirable.
- Strong financial modelling and analysis skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
