In this role as the Events Sales Executiveyou will be responsible for all the events, conferencing and wedding business. This position reports directly to the General Managers of each property, a career with the Capital Hotel Group will open a world of opportunities.
The role is responsible for meeting and exceeding conference and event revenue targets by:
- Quoting and securing new business
- Building and development relationships
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Showcasing the property through client events and site inspections
- Coordinating of event details and requirements with clients
- Preparing run / communication sheets for all departments
- Ensuring communication with the Kitchen and Banquets Operations teams
- Conducting post event follow-up to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction
- Maintaining service standards
- Foster a winning, solution-orientated work environment
- Financial and revenue reporting
To be successful you will require:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Industry experience
- Outstanding leadership skills
- Ability to keep calm under pressure
- Great motivator
- Drive Revenue
