Wednesday mornings, 7am to 12pm, looking after our shed: receiving deliveries, checking and putting stock away, and keeping the place tidy. Forklift licence required. Ideal for a retiree or semi-retired local.
Cape Kitchens designs and builds custom kitchens, laundries and joinery across the South West. We need a reliable, practical person to look after our shed one morning a week.
When: Wednesdays, 7:00am to 12:00pm (about 5 hours a week)
Pay: $38 an hour, casual
What you'll do
- Receive supplier deliveries and unload them with the forklift.
- Unpack and check deliveries against the paperwork, and flag anything damaged or missing.
- Put stock away in the right place.
- Empty the bins and keep the shed clean and tidy.
- General housekeeping so the workshop is ready for the week.
What you'll need
- A current forklift licence (High Risk Work Licence, LF class).
- A good eye for detail when checking orders.
- Reliable and self-motivated, happy to work on your own.
- Able to do some lifting and be on your feet for the morning.
- Live locally in or around Margaret River.
Who'd suit it
This would suit a retiree or semi-retired person who wants a regular, steady few hours a week in a friendly local business. A trade, warehouse or logistics background helps, but it isn't required.
