AMHRU works alongside the Adult Mental Health Day Service to deliver evidence-based, person-centred rehabilitation programs that promote wellbeing, resilience and successful community reintegration.

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Nurses and other multidisciplinary team members to support the delivery of psychosocial rehabilitation programs. You will assist consumers to engage in therapeutic activities, promote recovery-oriented goals, facilitate participation in daily living and healthy lifestyle programs, and support connections with community and NDIS services. The role also provides opportunities to contribute to service improvement initiatives, resource development, clinical administration and the supervision of junior Allied Health Assistant staff and students.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual who enjoys working collaboratively and building positive relationships with consumers, families and colleagues. You will bring strong communication and organisational skills, a commitment to recovery-oriented practice and the ability to adapt in a dynamic clinical environment. If you are passionate about supporting people on their mental health recovery journey and thrive as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, we would love to hear from you.
