- We are seeking a Language Assistant with French Fluency
- 16 hours per fortnight, term time only assisting students to flourish

About The Role
The Language Assistant will work alongside teachers both in junior (years 7-10) and senior (years 11 and 12) classes as requested and directed by the Head of Language Acquisition. The incumbent will be expected to assist with small-group conversation practice, preparation of resource materials, including creating ‘exemplar’ samples of written and spoken work, and other activities aimed at developing students' fluency in the language.
About You
- Fluency in the French and English languages
- Spanish Language Fluency is desirable
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents and teaching professionals
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills that will assist with students learning
- Aptitude for learning new IT systems such as those used at the school.
- Appropriate qualifications
- A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
- A current National Police Check
- Full working rights within Australia.
