We are seeking a highly motivated applicant with good organisational skills who can communicate confidently with all levels of staff on a wide range of information, as well as the ability to work under pressure as part of a team.
Experience in planning complex processes, report writing and data analysis is desirable, and excellent written and verbal skills are essential. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and organise work with minimum assistance is required. Much of the work is reliant on effective use of IT systems; therefore, applicants should be confident in using (and supporting others in using) a variety of software packages including word processing, Excel spreadsheets and email, as well as hospital systems.

Working within a complex environment, the post holder has responsibility for managing, tracking and navigating 18-week patient pathways and reporting at relevant meetings, ensuring that national and local targets are met.
Responsibilities include:
- Validating, amending and improving data quality in relation to pathways from initial referral through diagnostics to completion of the patient's episode.
- Proactively ensuring the patient has timely appointments within their pathway to achieve the waiting time targets.
- Liaising and coordinating with all colleagues involved in the patient's management.
- Managing the MDT and ensuring that the correct patients are added to the list to be discussed.
- Ensuring that all required information such as imaging and external reports are available and uploaded ready for the MDT discussion.
- Sending outcomes from the MDT meeting to the relevant colleagues to action and following up to ensure these actions have been taken.
