Calibre Resourcing Solutions is searching for an experienced Civil Site / Project Engineer looking to build their career in North Queensland. This is a permanent opportunity suited to someone who genuinely enjoys being on the ground delivering projects, not someone looking to move away from construction into a purely design focused role.
Location: Cairns, Townsville or anywhere in between
Residential role – NO FIFO
Typical Monday to Friday working week. Travel to project locations will be required depending on works.
What we are looking for:
- TMR road project experience is mandatory. Equivalent interstate road authority project experience may also be considered (NSW RMS, VicRoads, WA)
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years post graduate experience in civil construction
- Current White Card
- Current C Class Driver Licence
- Strong practical understanding of construction delivery and project controls
- Experience working across different aspects of a project rather than being limited to one function
- Willingness to get in, help the team and do what needs to be done to deliver the project
Highly regarded:
- 5+ years TMR project experience
- Experience as a named project resource under TMR contracts
- QLD TMD qualification
- RPEQ provided your career has remained focused on construction rather than design
