Calibre Resourcing Solutions is searching for an experienced Civil Site / Project Engineer looking to build their career in North Queensland. This is a permanent opportunity suited to someone who genuinely enjoys being on the ground delivering projects, not someone looking to move away from construction into a purely design-focused role.
Location: Cairns, Townsville or anywhere in between
Residential role: NO FIFO
Typical working week: Monday to Friday
Travel to project locations will be required depending on works.
What we’re looking for:
- TMR road project experience is mandatory. Equivalent interstate road authority project experience may also be considered (NSW RMS, VicRoads, WA).
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3+ years post-graduate experience in civil construction.
- Current White Card.
- Current C Class Driver Licence.
- Strong practical understanding of construction delivery and project controls.
- Experience working across different aspects of a project rather than being limited to one function.
- Willing to get in, help the team and do what needs to be done to deliver the project.
Highly regarded:
- 5+ years TMR project experience.
- Experience as a named project resource under TMR contracts.
- QLD TMD qualification.
- RPEQ, provided your career has remained focused on construction rather than design.
Practical project experience, capability, attitude and a genuine passion for construction are particularly important.
