A Roche Field Services Engineer provides vital field service activities for Core Lab, Molecular Diagnostics, Tissue Diagnostics and Sequencing Instruments by provision and coordination of all activities relating to instrument troubleshooting, instrument installation, instrument preventative maintenance, software and hardware modifications, relating to both pre and post sales requirements.
**What you will be working on:**
- Work with Account Management Teams and record all field activities in CRM.
- Ensure timely pre‑installation inspections and installations of Roche and other analytical systems.
- Carry out preventative maintenance as per manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Manage spare part inventory and boot stock accuracy.
- Comply with safety, health, environmental policies.
- Adhere to Roche processes and Code of Conduct.
- Provide service to instruments in NSW, with occasional travel regionally and interstate.
- Work 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Friday with rotating on‑call roster 5 p.m.–9 a.m. Monday–Friday and 24 h Sat‑Sun.
**Who you are:**
- Tertiary degree in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent.
- Experience in field engineering/customer service within Medical Devices industry.
- Experience in Hematology a plus.
- Experience with IT and Middleware systems.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Strong customer empathy, data connectivity, troubleshooting and resolution record.
- Motivated to influence own development and work in a multicultural environment.
- Full eligibility to live and work in Australia.
