Graduate Accountant | Entry Level Finance Role | Sydney
Our client is a well established and growing business based in Sydney. The finance team is close knit and supportive.
The Role
This is an excellent first step for a graduate who wants practical experience across financial accounting. You will support senior members of the finance team across the core finance cycle and build solid technical skills.
- Assist with month end, including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Prepare balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes
- Help prepare BAS and other compliance requirements
- Assist with management reporting and variance analysis
- Support year end and audit preparation
- Contribute ideas to improve processes and controls
The Candidate
You will be a sharp, motivated graduate with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in building a career in accounting.
- Degree in accounting, commerce or a related discipline
- Graduate level, or up to two years of relevant experience
- Commitment to completing CA or CPA studies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and solid Excel skills
- Proactive, motivated and keen to learn
Remuneration and Benefits
- $75,000 + super
- Guidance and support from experienced accountants
