Byron Medical supplies dental and medical equipment to clinicians, practices, hospitals and universities across Australia and New Zealand. The purpose of this role is to develop and oversee marketing strategies that increase company and brand awareness, drive customer engagement and sales, and support business goals. The Marketing Manager owns the day-to-day marketing engine. You will create and execute the marketing strategic plan, head new products launches, coordinate and orchestrate events and strategic cooperations, protect and grow the brand, and deliver a steady pipeline of qualified leads to the sales team. You will manage the marketing budget and lead a small, multi-disciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

  • Create the annual and quarterly marketing plan and budget with the CEO and leadership team, aligned to company sales targets, for the company as a whole and for individual products.
  • Execute the plan across channels and report progress through the company's EOS process.
  • Lead go-to-market plans for new products, from positioning to launch assets and sales enablement.
  • Plan, execute and manage campaigns across digital and traditional platforms, including Email, Google, Meta, LinkedIn and professional printed media.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Zoho to improve results.
  • Set the digital, advertising and social media strategy, including paid, SEO, email and content.
  • Plan, budget and execute the company's participation in events and trade shows.
  • Own the Byron Medical brand guidelines and drive consistent messaging across every channel and touchpoint.
  • Deliver a qualified lead pipeline to sales, with clean lead routing and CRM (Zoho) data.
  • Lead and coordinate a small marketing and social media team, admin support and design contractors, setting priorities, coaching and reviewing performance.

About you

  • 5+ years in marketing, with at least 2 years managing people or a marketing function.
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
  • Proven record of planning and running integrated B2B campaigns that delivered measurable leads.
  • Experience leading product launches from positioning through to sales enablement.
  • Strong grasp of digital channels: paid media, SEO, email automation, social and web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • A strong design eye, ideally with hands-on graphic design skills, including confident page and ad layout and a good feel for typography, such as font pairing and text sizing.
  • Budget ownership and reporting on marketing ROI.
  • Hands-on CRM and marketing automation experience (Zoho, HubSpot or similar).
  • Clear writer and presenter who can brief designers, agencies and senior stakeholders.
  • Commercially minded and data-driven, with a bias to action.
