Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Lead and supervise all drill and blast operations, ensuring activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
- Take a hands-on leadership approach, actively supporting and guiding personnel across all drill and blast activities.
- Monitor and maintain accurate daily operational records, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Liaise closely with geology, mine planning, and production teams to coordinate and deliver on blasting schedules.
- Collaborate with the Site Manager and client representatives to ensure project targets, timelines, and performance outcomes are consistently achieved.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within drill and blast.
- Current and valid driver's licence (HR licence highly regarded).
- Dual-skilled experience as a Driller and Shotfirer is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience operating T45 and D65 drill rigs.
- Strong commitment to safety with a proactive, safety-first approach.
- Current National Police Clearance with a clean record.
