Bustard Town is looking for a friendly and reliable All-Rounder Hospitality Worker to join our team. We are known for relaxed outdoor dining, Australian and Mediterranean food, refreshing drinks and great customer service. The role involves food and beverage service, customer service, venue and kitchen support, stock control and maintaining high standards across the venue. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers, take reservations and present menus and beverage lists
- Take and process food and beverage orders and serve meals, drinks, coffee and other beverages
- Set tables, clear used plates, cutlery and glassware and maintain clean dining, bar and service areas
- Maintain high standards of food quality, menu presentation and customer service
- Assist with kitchen operations, stock control, ordering, deliveries, equipment and supplier liaison
- Support EFTPOS and cash handling where required
- Assist with venue sales, operational cost control and relevant stock/operational reporting
- Respond professionally to customer feedback, complaints and incidents and assist in achieving positive outcomes
- Work with management and team members to promote a positive, respectful and solution-focused workplace culture
- Ensure opening, closing and cleaning procedures are completed
