We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Percy Plunkett, Penrith NSW, 2750. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Developing recipes and techniques for preparing, cooking and presenting foods
according to restaurant standards.
- Managing the ordering process for fresh produce, meats, fish, dairy products, and
dry goods.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Providing excellent customer service and presenting dishes with care
Skill & Experience
- Qualifications in commercial cookery and hospitality.
- At least two years' experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food safety
- Team player with good communication and problem-solving skill.
