You’re a smart, grounded, and confident lawyer looking for more - more responsibility, more clarity in your growth and future, and more meaningful client engagement. You have 3–6 years’ post-admission experience (or close to it) in corporate or transactional law (private M&A), or you’re a strong commercial lawyer looking to work across both practice areas. You’re admitted to practise in Australia.
You believe the law should be practical, logical, and useful, and that working with lawyers should feel like a value-add, not a burden. You’re curious, commercially minded, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You care about the people behind the work - whether it’s your clients, your colleagues, or the graduate lawyer you’re helping to mentor. You’re looking for a workplace that shares your values and gives you the tools and support to grow your practice.
As an important member of our Corporate Team, you’ll be the key driver in leading client matters assigned to you, responsible for ensuring tasks are provided to schedule, and the objectives and expectations of our clients and the law are met. You will work with a range of bluechip clients across various industries – from family office and SMEs to listed entities. Reporting to our Associate Director, you’ll be responsible for helping drive the productivity of your team and supported in the growth of your practice. You'll also play a key part in shaping the energy and momentum of our team.
What you’ll do:
- Strategically lead and manage client matters from first meeting to completion, ensuring seamless delivery and superior client outcomes.
- Support Associate Director in leading larger, complex matters.
- Lead due diligence processes and drive transaction execution with junior staff, anticipating issues and proactively resolving challenges.
