- What you'll need to make it possible
- Ideally 2+ years' experience working as a Dental Assistant in Australia
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded
- Provide chair-side assistance for dental professionals providing dental treatment including usage of suction, passing instruments and materials, mixing techniques, assist in x-rays procedures and knowledge of instrumentation.
- Clean and prepare the treatment room, dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control standards and BDC procedures;
- Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplace.
- Is responsible for work performed with a medium level of accountability or discretion
- Assist with the management of appointment schedules including booking, cancellation, rebooking and confirming appointments as required.
