Dental Assistant – Kellyville in Sydney

Permanent Part Time - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:45am-5:15pm (1 hour break) and Saturday 8:45-2:15.

The purpose of the Dental Assistant role is to support the delivery of safe clinical care and procedures and contribute to achieving patient care goals in dental health. This role ensures that all equipment and supplies adhere to infection control standards, including the sterilisation and processing of dental equipment and the treatment rooms are maintained in a safe and organised manner.

What you’ll need to make it possible:

• Ideally 2 years’ experience working as a Dental Assistant in Australia
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded
• Provide chair-side assistance for dental professionals providing dental treatment including usage of suction, passing instruments and materials, mixing techniques, assist in x-ray procedures and knowledge of instrumentation.
• Clean and prepare the treatment room, dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control standards and BDC procedures.
• Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplace.
• Assist with the management of appointment schedules including booking, cancellation, rebooking and confirming appointments as required.

Our Bupa Dental Kellyville Grove practice is well known for its cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, implants and general dentistry. We are a solid, stable team looking for an experienced Dental Assistant as we prepare for a significant growth in customer volumes. Team dynamic is incredibly important to us in our 2-chair practice.
