We’re looking for a confident and personable Dental Assistant – Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being the welcoming face of a practice while also being comfortable supporting our clinical team when required.
Conveniently located just a short 5-minute walk from Dapto train station, our practice offers a varied role supporting patients across both reception and the clinical environment.
The purpose of this job is: You’ll play an important role in keeping the practice running smoothly creating a positive experience for every patient. Your day may include welcoming patients, managing appointments and enquiries, supporting reception operations and providing chairside assistance to our clinicians.
Shifts may be rostered Monday to Saturday, with availability on Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays essential.
What you’ll need to make it possible:
- Previous experience in dental assisting and/or dental reception, ideally with at least one year’s experience.
- A willingness and ability to support both reception and chairside duties.
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional approach to patient care.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to confidently manage competing priorities.
- Reliable, punctual and adaptable, with a willingness to support the wider team.
- A positive, friendly approach and confidence working in a busy patient-facing environment.
