The Role
The Regional Operations Manager QLD will take overall responsibility for the performance and development of the Queensland operation.
Leading a team of technical professionals across South East and regional Queensland, you will balance service delivery, customer engagement, people leadership and commercial performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and develop a growing technical service team.
Ensure high-quality planned and reactive service delivery.
Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Manage regional revenue, costs and profitability.
Drive business growth, client retention and operational efficiency.
Lead performance, quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
Provide technical and operational leadership across the region.
Collaborate as part of the national leadership team.
You Will Bring
Experience leading a technical, engineering, biomedical, laboratory or similarly complex service operation.
Proven ability to lead, motivate and performance-manage technical teams.
Strong customer and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial understanding across budgets, costs, revenue and profitability.
Experience managing field-based teams and contractors.
A proactive approach to business development and growth.
Credibility with technical professionals and senior stakeholders.
A biomedical engineering background is advantageous but not essential. Strong candidates from adjacent technical service environments will be considered.
Genuine leadership and accountability for a significant Queensland operation.
