Our client is a commercial builder delivering projects to $20M across Victoria on a combination of fixed price contract, D&C projects as well as having their own development arm delivering their own work. With over 40 years experience within Victoria the business is currently seeking a project coordinator to join their experienced team.
The role of project coordinator offers broad scope for professional growth in the business as you will have exposure to commercial budgeting in line with Contract Administration duties, onsite coordination of trade groups as well as gaining insight to the estimating phase from time to time benefiting your awareness of how the project has been priced before taking on the project.
This broad exposure is a deliberate pathway for growth into Project Management which the business fosters from day one. To be suited to this role you will need 2 -4 years experience working for a commercial builder in Melbourne having ideally come from a degree in Construction Management and or similar.
You will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and be looking for an opportunity to give you broader skills to develop your career over time.
