The role

You'll be involved in ongoing electrical project and maintenance work at Hay Point Coal Terminal, supporting the safe and reliable operation of equipment and site infrastructure.

This is a drive-in/drive-out position from Mackay, with company transport provided for travel to and from the port, approximately 20 minutes from Mackay.

You'll work alongside an experienced team in an environment where safety, workmanship and communication matter.

• Monday to Friday
• Day shift only
• Four 10.5-hour rostered days and one 8-hour rostered day
• 50 scheduled hours per week, including breaks
• Overtime opportunities available

What we're looking for

We're interested in electricians who are reliable, safety-conscious and take pride in doing a good job.

To be considered, you'll need

• A current electrical work licence
• A current construction industry White Card
• A current driver's licence
• Current LVCPR (or willing to obtain)
• Working at Heights, EWP tickets advantageous
• You'll also demonstrate
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication with colleagues and clients
• A proactive approach to safety and problem-solving Flexibility to support the needs of a growing business
