We are currently seeking a part-time Accounts Assistant (25 hours p/week) to join our friendly and professional team, you will support the Finance Manager with the day-to-day financial administration of the business. You will help ensure invoices, payment runs, bank reconciliations and related financial transactions are processed accurately and on time.
Enjoy the stability of a permanent role while working 25 hours per week across five days. Flexible start and finish times are available to support a work–life balance.
This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate confidently with internal team members, suppliers and other external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Bank reconciliations
- Corporate credit card reconciliations and reimbursements
- Financial data entry, record keeping and reporting
- Assist with accounts receivable and debt recovery
- Process supplier and customer credit applications
- Managing the accounts mailboxes
- General administration duties and support as required
ABOUT YOU
- 1-2 years experience in an accounts or similar finance support role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Xero or a similar accounting system is preferred
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment
- High level of integrity and discretion when dealing with confidential information
