We are a busy and growing whitegoods retailer with multiple locations across Brisbane. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Part Time Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounts from our Slacks Creek store. This role offers excellent work-life balance with flexible daily hours and hybrid options for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with a support management team the role will consist of the following responsibilities:
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process supplier invoices and reconcile receivable income. Maintaining accurate journal entries in MYOB.
Multi-Stream Reconciliation: Reconcile daily cash, EFTPOS, and digital point-of-sale receivables across diversified revenue streams.
Returns & Credits: Reconcile supplier returns and warranty adjustments.
P&L Management: Perform comprehensive monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reconciliations and variance reporting.
BAS Lodgement: Prepare, review, and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) accurately and on time.
End-of-Month: Maintain general ledgers and ensure high-accuracy bank reconciliations.
What You Will Need
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or an equivalent qualification
Strong, proven experience using MYOB advanced features.
Demonstrated experience handling complex, multi-channel cash and payment reconciliations.
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, with sound knowledge of BAS lodgement and P&L analysis.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
