HWLE Lawyers has a rare opportunity for an experienced Marketing & BD Coordinator to join our national Marketing and Business Development team. We are seeking a proactive marketing professional who enjoys working with stakeholders, contributing ideas, and supporting the delivery of high-quality marketing, business development and tender initiatives. This role offers exposure to a broad range of activities and the opportunity to work closely with our lawyers and stakeholders across the firm.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting client proposals and tender submissions
- Preparing capability statements and marketing collateral
- Maintaining business development content
- Assisting with a range of projects that support client growth and engagement
- Assisting with the preparation and distribution of external communications
- Supporting content updates across the firm's website and LinkedIn channels
- Providing assistance through the marketing helpdesk
To succeed in this role, ideally, you'll have:
- Experience supporting marketing, business development, bids and tenders, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality client outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to prepare compelling client proposals, tender responses, capability statements and marketing collateral with accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience within a professional services environment (favourable), with an understanding of the importance of client service delivery and relationship management
- An eagerness to learn, with the confidence to ask questions, challenge thinking constructively and continually develop new skills
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and develop trusted working partnerships
- Self-motivated and proactive, taking ownership of tasks, identifying opportunities for improvement and anticipating client and team needs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and deliver client-focused outcomes
- Organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality
- A commitment to understanding client needs, delivering service excellence and contributing to long-term client relationships
