You’re not here to sell. You’re here to build the partner channel that sells for us. Brandscope is a purpose-built B2B digital wholesale sales and marketing platform. Since 2013, we’ve connected 500+ supplier brands with a 60,000-strong independent retailer marketplace across 90 countries.
Our brands sell physical consumer products across various categories including fashion, footwear, outdoor and sporting, homewares, beauty, food and beverage, toys, pet and surf. We are the wholesale engine behind those brands — we complement their DTC ecommerce, we don’t replace it.
We’ve never had a dedicated partnerships function. That changes now and that’s the opportunity.
Why this role exists:
Our fastest path to growth isn’t another salesperson working brand by brand. It’s a partner ecosystem that puts Brandscope in front of the right brands and retailers at the moment they’re deciding how to run their wholesale. Established integration partners, systems integrators, agencies and industry associations want access to who is already on the platform.
The strategic mandate:
You will not chase logos. Every partnership you pursue is selected because it reaches the brands and retailers Brandscope wins with:
- The ERP, POS and inventory partners — Cin7, MYOB, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Xero, Unleashed and the implementers who deploy them.
- The ecommerce and retail tech vendors and the agencies that already serve these brands DTC side and can introduce them to ours.
- Complementary platforms and tools our brands already use, and the industry associations they already belong to.
- The events and trade shows where these brands and retailers gather.
Partnerships at Brandscope is a demand channel mapped to who we win with, and it is measured that way — partner sourced pipeline and revenue.
What you’ll own:
- Activate the network. Our 500 brands and 60,000 retailers are your pitch. Partners want access to who’s already on the platform — use that from day one.
- Recruit the ecosystem. Identify, pitch and sign the ERP, POS, ecommerce and retail tech vendors, agencies and integrators that map to our brands and retailers.
- Run partner events and co-marketing. Trade shows, webinars, showroom activations, joint campaigns and referral programs.
- Own the full partner lifecycle. From the first conversation through negotiation and signing — you manage the relationship and make sure every partner is set up to actively generate revenue for both sides.
- Drive integrations to launch. Once a partner is signed, you see it through — scoping the POC, coordinating with the engineering team on both sides and keeping timelines on track until the partnership is live and producing.
- Report what matters. Run a tiered partner pipeline in HubSpot tracking partner sourced pipeline, revenue, activation and time to value.
What success looks like — first 6 to 12 months:
- A live partner channel: two to four high value ERP and integration partners and three to five retail tech or agency partners signed, all mapped to our brands and retailers.
- A running partner events and co-marketing calendar that is generating a partner sourced pipeline.
- Effective management of a partnership event and marketing budget that is returning on investment through new closed won deals to increase ARRA measurable partner sourced pipeline and first closed revenue.
- A repeatable process that shortens time to integration.
- A live HubSpot partner dashboard with weekly reporting.
What you’ll bring:
Must have:
- 3 to 6+ years in partnerships, alliances, channel or partner led BD — ideally in ecommerce, retail tech, commerce SaaS, ERP or POS.
- A live network into ecommerce or retail consumer product brands, or the partners and agencies that serve them.
- A track record of personally signing and activating partners.
- Comfort running events and co-marketing and turning relationships into pipeline.
- Technical literacy — you understand API led integrations, can scope and run a POC with engineering and speak credibly to a partner’s technical team without needing to code.
- HubSpot or Salesforce proficiency and the ability to build a simple partner report.
Nice to have:
- Background at an ecommerce or retail tech vendor or a commerce agency.
- Understanding of the wholesale side of a consumer brand’s business, not just DTC.
- Built a partner program or run partner events from scratch in a startup or scaleup.
