Join the inpatient pharmacy team at Mater Mackay Hospital, a 105-bed private hospital with medical, surgical, maternity and high dependency wards, plus theatre and emergency. You'll get full training, working alongside experienced hospital pharmacists, and become a trusted clinical partner to nurses and doctors.
The role includes:
- Ward rounds and patient chart reviews
- Medication reconciliation for new admissions
- Inpatient supply, discharge medication summaries and patient counselling
- Patient education sessions and nurse in-services

About you:
- Degree in pharmacy, general AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance.
- Community or hospital pharmacy background. Hospital experience is not required, just a keen interest in clinical practice and a willingness to learn.
- Clear communicator who works well in a team.
- Willing to work within group policies and procedures, including medicine supply to the Mater.
