Border Express has several Forklift Operator opportunities to join our team at the Cranbourne West branch. We have opportunities available on our day shift, with casual and full-time positions on offer.
Forklift Operator (day shift) - Full Time - $29.64/hr + super (approx 4.30am start)
Forklift Operator (day shift) - Casual - $37.05/hr + super (approx 6am start)
Reliable, weekly pay.
Opportunity to work for a national transport company.
Duties:
Loading and unloading tautliners, PUD trucks and linehaul trailers.
Always check load restraint, packaging and the condition of freight before it travels.
Sorting and staging freight safely and efficiently.
Working with the team to keep freight moving through the depot.
Completing basic paperwork and scanning as needed.
Keeping your work area clean and following all safety procedures.
Report all damages to freight or forklift to your supervisor immediately.
Skills and Experience:
Excellent attitude, a good work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Willingness to complete a Drug and Alcohol test as well as a National Police Check (paid for by Border Express).
