A little about us!

Boom Kids Clinic brings together the experience and expertise of D.O.T.S. OT for Children in Victoria and South West Kids Clinic in NSW.

Together, we're a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists and Dietitians, working collaboratively to help children and young people reach their potential.

We believe great therapy happens when passionate people are supported to do what they do best.

That means investing in our team, encouraging new ideas, celebrating successes and creating a workplace where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be working with children and young people with a variety of physical, developmental and neurological needs, including children with:

• Cerebral Palsy
• Down Syndrome
• Spina Bifida
• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Acquired Brain Injuries
• Developmental delays
• Neuromuscular conditions
• Complex physical disabilities and medical needs

You’ll have opportunities to provide meaningful, evidence-informed therapy that makes a real difference to children's everyday lives.

Your role may include individual therapy, multidisciplinary intervention, school and community visits, equipment recommendations, gross motor development, rehabilitation and supporting children to achieve functional goals.

We’re also excited to support therapists who have a particular interest in complex paediatric rehabilitation and want to continue developing their skills in this area.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about working with children and families.
• Loves being creative and finding engaging ways to deliver therapy.
• Enjoys collaborating with other allied health professionals.
• Is motivated to continue learning and developing their skills.
• Values relationships, teamwork and making a genuine difference.
• Holds a recognised Physiotherapy qualification and current AHPRA registration (or is eligible for registration).

Experience in paediatrics is fantastic, but we’re equally interested in finding the right person who shares our values and wants to grow with us.

Two positions. One exciting opportunity to grow with Boom!

We’re establishing our physiotherapy team in Victoria and have two positions available:

• Bundoora: Based at our Bundoora clinic, working alongside our established multidisciplinary team.
• Werribee & Footscray: A position shared across our Werribee and Footscray clinics, collaborating with our teams at both locations.

As our first two Victorian Physiotherapists, you’ll have a unique opportunity to help shape the future of physiotherapy at Boom Kids Clinic.

And while you’ll be helping establish something new, you certainly won’t be doing it alone!

You’ll have regular support and mentoring from our experienced Physiotherapy Team Leaders in Sydney, with opportunities to travel interstate for training, collaboration and professional development.

It’s the opportunity to be part of something new, with the backing of an established and experienced team.
