As a full-time site Boilermaker at Boneyard Fabrications, you'll play a vital role in being part of the team that ensures projects are run smoothly and efficiently both on site and in the workshop.
What you'll be doing:
- Carry out hands-on fabrication and welding tasks to the highest standards using a range of specialised equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide the fabrication process.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise, implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety procedures and quality control measures.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to more junior team members.
- Liase with clients to complete the projects to the highest standards they expect.
What we're looking for:
- Formal trade qualification as a Boilermaker or relevant experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise in metal fabrication, welding and assembly techniques (MIG, TIG and STICK).
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Sound understanding of interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Positive, collaborative attitude and effective communication skills.
