What you'll be doing:
- Conducting work in accordance with procedures and reporting deviations.
- Reporting and recording product non-conformances.
- Reporting hazards & incidents (including those with environmental consequences).
- Performing production duties in all areas and may be required to move between production areas daily if necessary.
- Committing to the agreed roster system in each area in which they are committed to work.
- Filling and handling of all medical cylinders in accordance with the requirements of the Australian Code of Good Manufacturing Practice for Medicinal Products.
- Filling of Industrial Air Products gases i.e. Air, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, Argoshield gas mixtures plus all special gas mixtures at MOC to company specifications.
- Undertaking any duties as directed by your Team Leader that are within the appropriate levels of competence and training and consistent with this role.
- Exhibiting a level of physical/medical fitness intrinsic to the requirements of the position.
What Makes you great:
- Formal certification in relevant production activities.
- Two-year exposure to industrial environment.
- The ability and willingness to work day shift and afternoon shifts, on a rotational or relief basis if necessary.
- The ability and willingness to work relief work when required.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend operating procedures and communicate answers under test conditions.
- An understanding of the implications relating to working within the guidelines of the Dangerous Goods Act.
