We are a growing commercial law firm acting on high-quality matters for private clients including high-net-worth individuals, small businesses and larger corporations.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a junior lawyer seeking broad commercial exposure and meaningful responsibility to join the Firm in a small, supportive team environment. The successful candidate will assist on, and progressively take carriage of, a range of legal matters across the Firm's practice areas. The work will include:
- litigation and dispute resolution, including complex litigation across various Courts and jurisdictions
- general commercial transactions, property transactions and retail leasing
- insolvency advice and litigation
- family law involving business and property disputes
- estates and family provisions litigation
- direct file and matter management, client and stakeholder communication
To be considered for this role you must have previous experience in a commercial or litigation team. You must be able to demonstrate:
- a genuine interest for commercial transactions and litigation
- a strong willingness to learn
- excellent attention to detail
- excellent organisational skills
- the ability to meet strict deadlines
- strong emotional intelligence and the ability to handle varying types of clients
