Due to continued growth and success across our business, we now have an opportunity for an Estimator to join our well-established team.
About the role
Based in our Acacia Ridge facility and reporting to the Sales & Operations Manager the role will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for the repair of equipment (hydraulic cylinders, pumps, wheel hubs and axle components).
- Liaise with customers on technical, costs and turnaround aspects of work.
- Compile detailed job costings, including labour, materials, machining, and subcontract services.
- Liaise with Workshop Manager/ Supervisors regarding repair methods and feasibility.
- Answering phone/ email sales inquiries.
- Building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Provide support for the Sales & Operations Manager.
About you
The successful candidate will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Internal Sales/ Estimator role.
- Trade/ Technical Background.
- Experience in the Heavy Engineering and Mining Industry.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Organized and great attention to detail.
