BM Webb Building Pty Ltd t/a BM Webb Industrial Property is looking for experienced Civil Engineer at Mount St John, QLD.
Duties will include the following tasks:
- Determine construction methods, materials and quality standards, and prepare and interpret engineering drawings, plans and specifications.
- Organise and supervise site activities, including labour, construction materials, plant and equipment, and coordinate project schedules.
- Conduct soil and rock investigations, assess ground conditions and determine safe soil loading capacities for construction projects.
- Prepare project cost estimates and budgets, monitor design changes, and assess and negotiate variations affecting project costs.
- Analyse and design structural and transportation systems, ensuring structural safety and considering traffic flow, transport demand and infrastructure requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent relevant engineering qualification.
- Experience in civil engineering design, construction projects, reading technical drawings and interpreting engineering specifications.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering principles, quality standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
