Blueprint Psychology is hiring a Registered Psychologist two to five days per week at our Mascot clinic. This is an employed role with paid non-client time and a starting load of up to five appointments per day. We provide therapy and assessment for children, adolescents and adults, with many of our clients identifying as neurodivergent. Experience in this area is welcome; genuine interest in neuroaffirming practice is enough. Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Psychology Registrars who want this caseload and working pattern are also welcome to apply.

The role:

  • Initially two days per week, with scope to increase up to full-time
  • Starting load of up to five client appointments per day
  • Paid time within your hours for notes, preparation, correspondence, supervision, consultation and meetings
  • Workload set with you based on experience and capacity, with extra care for early-career psychologists
  • If you prefer a higher client-facing load, we can discuss a package of up to about $125,000 p.a. + super (FTE) at up to six appointments per day
  • Caseload shaped around your experience, interests and scope of practice
  • Existing clients welcome (we can discuss transitioning a caseload, including additional days if you are bringing one)

You will not take payments or process Medicare rebates. Reception and administration handle bookings, billing and referrals.

The clinical work:

Your caseload will not require you to do everything. Our work includes:

  • Autism, ADHD and other neurodivergent presentations
  • Anxiety, depression and adjustment
  • Children, adolescents and families
  • Adult therapy
  • SIRA, DVA, NDIS and other funded clients
  • Psychological assessment

Openness to a varied client group matters more than experience in every area. Blueprint is an inclusive practice. We work with people across a wide range of backgrounds, identities, cultures and life experiences.

What we offer:

  • Salary $100,000–$125,000 p.a. + 12% super (FTE), pro rata for part-time
  • Employee entitlements on a pro-rata basis, including annual leave, personal leave and public holidays
  • Paid non-client-facing time
  • Full reception and administration support
  • Weekly group supervision
  • Individual clinical support and consultation
  • Professional development, discussed as part of your package
  • Assessment work, depending on interest and experience
  • Pathways into senior clinical, supervision and assessment leadership roles
  • Flexibility on days and hours where possible
  • An allocated consulting room on your working days, with desk, computer, additional screen and landline
  • A warm Mascot clinic, close to cafes and lunch options, with a small team that actually talks to each other between sessions

About you:

  • Current general registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (Clinical Psychologists and Registrars also considered)
  • Able to provide psychological therapy independently within your scope of practice
  • Current Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not available)

We particularly want to hear from you if you:

  • Are interested or experienced in working with neurodivergent people
  • Are warm, clinically thoughtful and evidence-based
  • Value supervision, reflection and being part of a team
  • Are reliable, organised and communicate well
