Overview
An opportunity exists for an experienced Data & Analytics professional to lead reporting, analytics and data management capabilities within the marketing division of a large, established organisation.
This role will focus on improving the quality, consistency and accessibility of data, developing scalable reporting solutions and delivering insights that support marketing performance and commercial decision-making.
Working closely with marketing stakeholders, technology, CRM and data teams, you will help strengthen existing analytics capabilities, improve reporting processes and support the ongoing development of the division's data environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the data and analytics roadmap to support the marketing division's reporting and analytical requirements.
- Oversee the design, development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Improve the consistency and reliability of marketing performance data across multiple systems and business functions.
- Work with technology and data engineering teams to support data integrations, pipelines and data warehouse requirements.
- Establish and maintain data governance practices, including data quality, documentation and reporting standards.
- Support marketing performance measurement through customer analytics, campaign reporting and attribution analysis.
- Translate business requirements into practical reporting solutions and actionable insights.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and analytical capabilities.
- Maintain consistent KPI definitions and reporting frameworks across the marketing function.
- Support the adoption of data-driven decision-making across marketing teams.
Skills & Experience
- 8+ years' experience in Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence or a related discipline.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI, including data modelling, dashboard development and reporting.
- Sound understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, SQL and data integration processes.
- Experience with data governance, data quality management and reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to develop reporting frameworks and improve existing analytics capabilities.
- Exposure to marketing analytics, customer insights or commercial performance reporting.
- Knowledge of marketing measurement techniques, including attribution modelling, marketing mix modelling or econometrics, would be advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
- Experience translating business requirements into practical data and reporting solutions.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within a complex business environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field.
