Founding Business Development Manager | Renewable Energy Tech | B2C | Sydney

Our client is a market-creating renewable energy business changing how Aussies think about solar on their homes.

Their model is simple.

The homeowner pays nothing for the solar and battery system, and in return they get cheaper energy (surely that’s not a hard sell).

They’re hiring 2 founding BDMs in sydney to take that offer to market at volume. These are the first seats in a sales team that’s heading to scaling the business.

The role:

The leads come inbound from their marketing funnel, so these are homeowners who’ve already put their hand up. You call fast, run a proper discovery, explain a model most people haven’t come across before, and close. It’s phone and video, with a short sales cycle and high-ticket systems.

The goal:

• The goal is 18-20 deals a month.

Who i’m looking for

Someone who is a self-starter, motivated, takes initiative, and does not need their hand held to take action. Someone with high agency, driven, coachable, and eager to learn. Someone who has been in high-velocity sales, ideally in the energy, solar, or B2C environment.

You could be a broker, you could be an SMB account executive, or you could be a salesman in another industry.

Note: this role is 5 days a week in the office, and the future of this role is moving into partnerships, selling to wholesalers and retailers in the energy sector

The offer:

up to $100k base + $40k uncapped comms.
